    Hi Jackie! My middle son is turning 8 June 6th and we will be there. (POR) I read your response to one reader that you might have some suggestions on how to make his birthday special at WDW. Can I get it on that, please?

    Hi Roxanne!

          I would LOVE to lend a hand!!!  My son's best friend turns 8 on June 6th as well and he would give anything to be lucky enough to spend it at Walt Disney World!!  The first thing that pops into my head is the Bayou Pirate Cruise that leaves directly from your resort and explores various "ports of call."  Lunch is provided as well as plenty of "treasure" and adventure!  Sadly, this cruise doesn't' set sail on his actual birthday, which falls on a Monday; however, cruises are offered on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  They set sail around 9:30 and as of now, cost around $31.95 and can be booked 180 days in advance by calling 1-407-WDW-PLAY.  Ahoy!  Guided fishing tours are also available, which include rods, reels and tackle.  Advanced reservations are required and prices vary.

         If you wouldn't mind sending me another message, I would love to know what your son is in to and I would be happy to customize an extra special birthday for him!  Also, let me know what park you plan to hit that day, as well as any reservations that you may already have.  I can't wait to hear from the two of you!
