Hello Jackie, I hope you can help me. We want to stay at Coronado Springs in June. We want to be near the pool, bus, and food, but want to be in a standard room. Which buildings should I ask for that would accommodate my request? Thank you.

Hi Jaynee!  Thanks for asking me your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I think I should be able to help you out!

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a great resort to stay at.  My family and I have enjoyed it several times.  I think you already have an idea of just how big Disney's Coronado Springs Resort really is.  No matter what building you stay in, I would expect a little bit of walking.  With that being said, I think you would be most happy in the Cabanas (buildings 8 and 9).  It's kind of the best of both worlds.  It's in the middle of the Dig Site (main pool area) and El Centro (main building).  The Cabanas section also has a quite pool that will be close to whichever building you stay in and laundry facilities.  It will also be a short walk to a bus stop at El Centro or to the bus stop between the Ranchos Buildings and the Cabanas Buildings.  The Cabanas are 2 story, inspired by the Latin style beach houses and are really pretty.

Before you book, I encourage you to google the Cabanas buildings at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort so you can see for yourself where they are on the map.  I think you will be very happy staying there but it's ultimately up to you.  If I can help you with anything else, please come back and ask me.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
