Hi Jackie! I've heard lots about the new Art of Animation resort & the Fantasyland expansion. Is it all completed? What are some of the new attractions/amentities available to guests now? I can't wait to see it for myself!

    Hi Amanda!

I am just sooo excited that Walt Disney World is expanding!!!  I was just in the Magic Kingdom a couple of days ago and while there are still lots of walls up, you can see that the area is really coming to life.  We were able to ride the new and improved Barnstormer, featuring the Great Goofini himself!  Also open, you can experience not one, but TWO Dumbo attractions!  While soaring in the skies on either of these rides, you can get a sneak peak of what is to come.  I am absolutely bursting with excitement about the new Fantasyland; however, there is no set opening date for the rest of the improvements.  Trust me, it will be worth the wait!!!

On the other hand, the Finding Nemo section of the Art of Animation Resort welcomed its first guests on May 31, 2012!  The Cars area is soon to open on June 18th, followed by The Lion King and finally the LIttle Mermaid.  The first three sections will feature Family Suites, while the Little Mermaid will feature traditional Value guest rooms.  Feel free to take a bus on over to this fabulous resort and check out all that it has to offer!

I'd love to hear from you again!

    Much pixie dust,
