Jackie, First of all thank you for the information. It eased my mind so much. We are planning our trip for the end of April. What are the best character dining for girls? I have an 11 and 8 year old. One likes princesses and the other classic Mickey.

    Hi, Sabrina!

You're very welcome! Hearing that your mind is eased makes my heart sing!

Character Dining is one of my favorites because it really gives us a chance to take lots of pictures of the interactions with our family. It creates such a great memory with our kids, even as they are getting older. Our very favorite restaurant for seeing classic Mickey and his friends is at Chef Mickey's located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The atmosphere is just awesome with the monorail sailing by over head.

For Princesses, there are a couple of choices. We had dinner at Akershus in Epcot's Norway Pavillion and we really enjoyed it. My daughter met Alice there about four years ago and she still talks about it! Princesses you might meet here are Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, Ariel, and Mary Poppins. We loved dining in a medieval Castle while the Royalty circled the dining rooms. We also love dining at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom. It's just glorious to sit within the beautiful stained glass windows of the Castle overlooking Fantasyland. You'll meet Cinderella herself on your way in, and once you're upstairs in the dining room, you'll meet Princesses such as Belle, Princess Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, and Ariel.

Please note that characters are subject to change. Also, these dining locations are tremendously popular and reservations are highly recommended. They can be made up to 180 days in advance either online or by calling 407.WDW.DINE [939.3463].

Thanks for coming back with your question and please stop back by with any others you think of!

    Have a Pixie Dusted day!
