Hi Jackie! If we get the Dining Plan, is it tied to the number of nights we stay on property or the number of days we have on our tickets? We want to spend a day out of parks in the middle of the week, but didn't know about meals that day.

Hi Beth!  Are you getting excited for your vacation at Walt Disney World?  It will be here before you know it!

I am so glad the you have chosen the Disney Dining Plan.  We use the Disney Dining Plan every time we visit Walt Disney World.  I love having everything paid for in advance, it makes vacation seem even more relaxing.  The Disney Dining Plan credits are based on how many nights you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.  We often times stay more days than we buy park tickets for.  It saves us a little bit of money and we don't feel guilty spending a day at Downtown Disney or swimming at the resort.  On those days we either dine at one of the many restaurants at a Disney Resort or we eat at Downtown Disney.  There are so many great dining options not located inside of the parks.

I would suggest looking into 'Ohana for dinner.  'Ohana is located at Disney's Polynesian Resort and happens to be my favorite place to eat!  If you can get a reservation an hour before the nighttime firework show over Magic Kingdom begins, you will have a prime viewing spot while you eat!  The restaurant lowers the lights and pipes the music in for the show.  It is a perfect way to end a day at Walt Disney World.

Have a great vacation and if I can answer any other questions for you, feel free to ask!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
