Hi Jackie. Since you have 3 boys you may be able to help me decide. Are the All Star resort rooms too small for my family of 5, including my 9, 6, and 1 year old boys? Should we upgrade to a moderate? Is there a lot more to do at the moderates? Thanks

    Hi Queen Holly!

It is so great to hear from you again!  I'm not going to sugarcoat it, all of the Value Resorts are pretty darn small.  While I have stayed in one with all five of us, it is a tight squeeze.  It depends on how much time you plan on spending in your room and how much "baby stuff" will be coming along with your one year old.  The value resort rooms are 260 square feet, while the moderates are around 340 square feet.  It may not seem like a lot, but the extra square footage is really nice!

Also, the moderates will all come with a free refrigerator in the room - the value resorts will charge around $10 a night if you request one.  The fridge may come in handy for storing bottles, etc. for your little one.  Also, the moderate resorts have great food courts, as well as a sit down restaraunt and lounge area.  Moderates also offer many, many more recreational options!  For instance, you can rent a surrey bike, take a pirate cruise or even a horse and carriage ride.

Be sure to check out mousesavers.com for all of the latest and greatest deals on Disney resorts.  You may find a moderate resort to be well within your budget!  I'd love to hear from you again!

    Much pixie dust,
