Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Simone. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! And with
little ones in tow! Oh, you're going to make so many precious memories.
As a mom of three, a stroller has been a must-have for my family's Disney vacations over the years. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking, and little legs tire quickly!
Strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks and Disney Springs, but I prefer to bring our own like you're planning to. I like having it on hand when we're in the airport. Not to mention, I really appreciate having it when we leave the theme parks and head back to our Disney Resort hotel! After a long day of pixie-dusted adventures, my little ones have always been way too tired to walk to the bus or our hotel room, and we're too tired to carry them!
To answer your question,
strollers must be no larger than 31” in width and 52” in length. I checked the website for the Contours Options Elite V2 tandem stroller and it states that it is "Disney-size approved" in any seating configuration, but the specifications for the stroller list it as 55" in length. My best advice is to take painter's tape, and make a 31" x 52" rectangle on the floor. Wheel your stroller into that rectangle - if it fits within the perimeter, you'll be set to roll through the theme parks!
Spotting your stroller among a sea of others in the designated stroller parking areas can be tricky. Be sure to pack something that will mark your stroller to make it stand out! I always pack a Mickey Mouse ribbon to tie around the handlebar, but I've seen Guests use nameplates and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
I hope this was helpful, Simone. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
