Hi Jennifer -
Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel. The newly re-imagined
Disney Magic is a spectacular ship and you and your shipmates will definitely have an awesome voyage. Similar to a hotel room, your stateroom will also come with some basic necessities to help make your vacation a little bit more enjoyable. Toiletries are included and will be replenished by your stateroom host as needed. You'll get the nicely branded Disney Cruise Line Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower Gel, Lotion and bath soaps in your bathroom. So, you don't have to pack any of these, since you'll have plenty onboard and it smells really nice!
Conveniently, you'll also have a small refrigerator in your Disney Magic
stateroom. It usually will fit a few small water bottles and a couple of small milk boxes. So, you and your toddler can be assured that you'll have cool milk and water in the middle of the night if you need it. If you decide to bring a sippy cup to keep in the refrigerator, you can also refill this with milk when you are up on the pool deck's drinking stations. My family and I are used to bringing a 12-pack of small water bottles in our check-in luggage. It's convenient and I like to keep bottled water in our room refrigerator. So, having a refreshing drink of water - or to take medicines in the evenings makes it convenient. Bringing disposable bottled water on your own is also cheaper than purchasing it onboard :-)
As you'll see from the links I've included, each stateroom is nicely appointed. The bedding, pillows and sheets are so comfortable - and the fact that your stateroom host makes your bed every morning, and even gets it ready for your bedtime every evening... is some great pampering! You'll even find a fun towel animal & chocolates every night!
