Welcome Sonia. Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I usually carry my backpack when visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort. I can’t go anywhere without carrying my wallet, cell phone and sunscreen with me. There are other items I consider very important to bring to Disney Theme Parks for a magical day: a hat or cap, poncho for rainy days, camera, bottle of water, some snacks and a long sleeve shirt (it can feel chilly inside some shows and attractions).
There is no problem to ride most attractions carrying your backpack with you. For those attractions they are not allowed, usually thrill rides, cast members will inform you the best place to leave it while you ride. Please note that rules apply for backpack sizes. Suitcases, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, are not allowed to be brought to the parks if they are larger than 24” long X 15” wide X 18” high (61cm X 38cm X 46cm).
Don’t hesitate to come back if you have further questions.
Have a wonderful day!
Gina V.
