Hello Nedra,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your important question. As the mother of three children, we definitely bring a bag full of necessities to get through the day. So, I completely understand your interest in being prepared for your day in the park.
I never forget emergency snacks in case we are in a long queue and getting out of line to purchase one is not ideal. I also tend to bring extra sunscreen and water bottles so we are sure to stay comfortable and hydrated in the warm Florida sunshine. A few plastic zip bags are handy for keeping those phones dry during water rides. I know this may sound funny, but I also pack a kitchen size trash bag to put my backpack in on those rides as well. Then, I simply shake it out, roll it back up and put it in a side pocket until it is needed again. These are just a few of the items we bring in. For a complete list of items NOT allowed in the parks, as well as other general information, please take a look at the
Park Rules and Regulations for Walt Disney World. Also, please be mindful that ALL bags will be searched prior to entering the parks.
There are
lockers available for rent at the park entrances, but most backpacks and bags can fit on the rides with you, but you will want to keep this in mind when choosing your daily bag or backpack for the park.
I hope this information is helpful to you and that you have a wonderful time.
