What items are we allowed to take into the park? Can I take a small backpack/purse with snacks and a bottle of water or two for the day or does everything have to be purchased in the park?

Hi Lindsey!  Yes!  You are most certainly allowed to carry into the parks a backpack filled with snacks and water.  As a matter of fact, I would highly recommend it.  Not only will this keep your family happy as you wait in lines at any of the attractions, but it also helps in keeping the cost down for the amount of snacks you would normally buy in the parks.  If you are traveling in the summer months, I would make sure to keep those water bottles filled.  You want to make sure you keep yourself and your family hydrated. Some favorite treats I like to fill my backpack up with are fruit snacks, crackers, peanuts and sliced fruit. So just keep in mind what your family will enjoy and load up those backpacks.  You will be happy you did!
