Hi Jamy!
I'm so sorry to hear about the difficulty you may have standing for too long. The good news is that the Disneyland Resort is committed to making the magic as accessible as possible for all Guests, so let's take a look at your question and find a path to the pixie dust that works best for you.
I looked through the
property rules and prohibited items, and, unfortunately a collapsible stool is not allowed in the parks. I double confirmed this information by talking to a Cast Member as well. I'm sorry, I know that was not the news you were hoping to hear. That being said, there are a few things that are allowed that may provide some support, namely, canes, cane chairs, and seat-walker mobility aids. Additionally,
wheelchairs and ECVs are available for rent at the Stroller Shop in the Esplanade outside the main Disneyland Park entrance. These are first-come, first-served, so we recommend heading that way before you enter the parks in the morning to secure your device. If you have any questions while you're in the parks, I recommend heading to the
Accessibility Services Kiosk, which may be able to provide additional information and assistance.
Jamy, I hope this helped give you some additional information to ensure a comfortable visit to the parks. It is a very exciting time to be in the magic with the
70th Anniversary festivities in full swing by the time you hit Main Street! Beyond the entertainment offerings, you may want to dive into the
Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide ahead of your visit to earmark some must try sweets and treats! I've got my eye on the 70th Celebration Churro!
We are always here to lend a helping hand or a friendly tip or two or three! If you have any more questions, feel free to stop by anytime, Jamy! I'm wishing you a magical visit filled with unforgettable memories.
See ya real soon!
Tara
