Guests of the Disneyland Resort theme parks who may have difficulty remaining in a traditional queue due to a
disability may qualify for the
Disability Access Service (DAS). While DAS doesn’t necessarily make attraction wait times shorter, it can certainly help make the wait times easier. A Guest registered with DAS, along with up to 5 other members of their party, may use the
Disneyland mobile app to book a return time for a supported attraction, up to one attraction at a time. The return time is based on the current estimated standby wait time for the selected attraction. The Guest can then wait for their return time in a more comfortable location.
Eligibility for DAS at the Disneyland Resort is determined during an interview with an authorized Guest Relations Cast Member. You can find them at
various locations throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Or if your arrival date is between two and 30 days away, you may request a video chat interview. Just use the web browser on a computer or mobile device with a camera to access the
DAS planning and pre-arrival registration page between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time. After logging into the account used to make
theme park reservations, click on the “Request Live Chat” button to proceed.
Tony’s Tip: My family and I have found DAS to be a tremendous blessing that helps us manage our visits to the Disneyland Resort. We have also found we can multiply the magic even more by purchasing the optional
Disney Genie+ service. With Genie+, we can book return times at select attractions with Genie+
Lightning Lane. Even though we can only book up to one attraction return reservation at a time using DAS, we can use Genie+ to have another attraction return time booked as well. Sometimes, Genie+ can allow for even more return times to be booked at a given time depending on the timing of the bookings and the available Lightning Lane openings. It’s like
being in more than one place at once!
