Hi there, I’m trying to make plans for visiting in 2021 for the 50th Anniversary, has there been any developments on when the celebrations will start and finish? I’m thinking Oct to do the anniversary and Halloween at the same time

    Hi Nyomie!

There's no place better to have a party than at the "Most Magical Place on Earth"! We celebrated my son's third birthday at Walt Disney World Resort several years ago and he had an amazing special day. So I know the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort is going to be an absolutely amazing celebration!

The Disney Imagineers are always working on amazing things for Guests to enjoy, so I know they are dreaming up incredible ways to celebrate 50 years of magic at Walt Disney World Resort. So far, the details of Walt Disney World Resort's 50th birthday haven't been announced. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about the 50th anniversary celebration, as well as attractions, entertainment and special events you will be able to enjoy during your trip!

Since Walt Disney World Resort officially opened on October 1, 1971, October 2021 is a great time to plan your visit to enjoy the anniversary celebrations, as well as other autumn special events, such as the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration, which celebrated Disneyland Resort's 60th anniversary, lasted for almost a year, so I expect you will have plenty of time to celebrate Walt's Florida project's special anniversary!

Let us know if we can help you plan your vacation. T-T-F-N, ta for now!
