Hey Howdy Hey, Bruce!
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with family and friends. Celebrating the magic with others is the best way to enjoy Walt Disney World, and being able to coordinate plans is one of my favorite features of the My Disney Experience app. As the planner of the family, it's usually my job to round up all of the toys in our party to ensure we enjoy Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane reservations and dining reservations together. So when it comes to adding people to your list, you've got a friend in me, Bruce!
To add Guests to your Friends & Family list, go to the My Disney Experience app on your device. From the home page, click on the "hamburger" - or the three horizontal lines - in the bottom right corner and follow these steps.
1. Scroll down a bit and below the tiles, you'll see "My Profile." Click on this.
2. Then, at the top, you'll see "Family & Friends List" and click on this.
3. You'll see a blue circle with a + that says "Add a Guest" and click on this link.
4. From here, you can select if you are finding the Guests through your connected Guests (meaning they have been in your party in the past,) if you'll enter their name and age, or if you want to scan their linking code. Once you make this selection, names should pop up that match those of your Guests and you can select them, and then select the blue "Add Guest."
5. This will send an email to your favorite deputies inviting them to your Family & Friends list. Once they accept the invitation, they will be added to your list. You can modify what information you share with them.
If you get a snake in your boot trying to add your Guests, you can reach out to Guest Services by phone or chat prior to your visit or stop by Guest Services once you are on property. They should be able to help you.
