What is involved in "customizing" your magic band? Is there more to it than selecting a color and adding your name? We are 145 days out, and have already done that much. What's next? Is there anything else to do to them before we get 60 days o

    Hi Donna,

It sounds like you have everything covered. Customizing you MagicBand really only involves selecting a color and adding your name. The Bands will be mailed to your home approximately one month prior to your visit. As long as your address is correct on your account, then all you have to do regarding your Bands is sit back and wait.

There are, however, other aspects of vacation planning that do need your attention. Most Disney restaurants accept reservations up to 180 days in advance. If you have any must-do dining, you should be making reservations now.

If you're staying at a Disney resort hotel, you'll be able to make FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your arrival. FastPass+ allows you to pre-select times to experience most popular rides and attractions. To do this, log into your account at and go to the My Disney Experience tab. Make sure your room reservation number and ticket numbers are in the system. 60 days out, go to the FastPass+ area of the "Plan and Manage" section and you'll be on your way.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can do anything else.
