Greetings Elisabeth! Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during Christmastime is extra magical! The holiday decorations at the Disney Parks, Disney Springs, and the resort hotels are stunningly beautiful! You are going to have an amazing time!
When you booked your vacation, you should have received a reservation number. This should be included in your invoice or confirmation email. You should link your reservation number to your My Disney Experience account. That is most easily done through the
My Disney Experience app!
Once you have the app, tap on the tile that states, “Resort Hotel.” You will come to a page that allows you to indicate your “Resort Reservation.” It will prompt you to include your “Confirmation Number” and “Last Name on Reservation.” That is where you will use the reservation number from your email.
If you are not booking a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, then you should use the ID number found on your tickets to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. You will do this in the app as well by clicking on "Admission Media" (also found in the "Resort Hotel" tile).
And, yes, you are correct that you need to reserve which days you are visiting the Disney Parks. You will do this using the
Disney Park Pass Reservation system. Theme park reservations are still required through January 8, 2024. To make your reservations, visit the Walt Disney World Resort website. When you arrive at the website, scroll down just a bit to where you see “Make a Theme Park Reservation.” Follow the prompts to indicate which parks you’ll be visiting on which days!
I hope you have the perfect visit to the Walt Disney World Resort during the most magical time of the year!
Happy Planning!
