I was invited to join on a DisneyLand trip coming up soon. I'm curious is there a way to Link my DisneyAccount to the person hosting the magical adventure? Or does my ticket have to stay with their account?

    Hello there, Marie!

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have some excellent friends, I'm so excited that you'll be spending some time at the Disneyland Resort with them soon! I'd be happy to help you make sure you're prepped and ready for your visit.

Guests at the Disneyland Resort need to have a valid park ticket as well as a park reservation for the day they will be visiting. As far as visiting with a group, I'm happy to report that your ticket can be linked to more than one Disney account. I recommend downloading the Disneyland Mobile App and using these steps to link your ticket:

    1. Open the Disneyland Mobile App and tap the "≡" icon to open the menu
    2. Select "Tickets and Passes"
    3. Tap "Link Tickets and Passes"
    4. Enter your Ticket ID or use your camera to scan the ticket barcode
You can follow those same steps to link your ticket to a friend or family member's account! This will allow others to include you in their group to join a Virtual Queue or to reserve Lightning Lanes if you purchase Disney Genie+ for your ticket. Linking your ticket to your friend's account is a nice option to have when you're visiting with a group!

Having the Disneyland app on your own mobile device is really helpful during your visit, too. Beyond entering the park with your digital ticket, you also can use the app to check wait times, see the entertainment schedule, and mobile order a snack. The map feature in the app is great, allowing you to view attractions, character locations, Disney PhotoPass spots, dining, and even restrooms! It's definitely worth downloading the app and exploring it a bit before your visit. You can use it to make dining reservations up to 60 days before your visit, as well!

Marie, the Disney100 Celebration is going strong and the resort is absolutely glowing with beautiful decorations and sparkling treats! If you have more questions about your visit I hope you'll come back and see us here at planDisney again!

    Keep moving forward!
