Hi there! If i have an Interval International membership and stay at a dvc property, do i get the dvc benefits too? Like the dvc members only part of the parks? Or requesting club level? Thanks!!

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jessica!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am so excited to help a fellow New Englander today.  Our wintery weather sure is magical for Olaf, but I'm sure, like me, you might be dreaming of a different kind of magic like a stay at Walt Disney World Resort.  It sounds like you are thinking of using your Interval International Membership to immerse yourself in the storytelling and unique theming of a Disney Vacation Club Resort, and trust me when I say you will be transported to a whole new world!

Jessica, staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort has so many magical benefits.  It's like a home away from home, with rooms designed to give you the bare necessities like kitchenettes in the Deluxe Studios or if you stay in a one to three-bedroom Villa or a Grand Villa, a full-sized kitchen and in-room washer and dryer.  We love staying in a Disney Vacation Club Resort for all of the amenities that make traveling so much easier.

Now, in order to enjoy Disney Vacation Club Member Extras and benefits, including Member Lounges and discounts on select shopping, dining, event tickets, and experiences, you have to be an eligible Member with an active Digital Membership Card which is required to be presented, along with a photo ID, to take advantage of any Disney Vacation Club benefit.  This means, unfortunately, that you won't have access to these benefits simply by staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort unless you are an eligible Disney Vacation Club Member.

But as a Guest of a Disney Vacation Club Resort, you can enjoy many of the benefits for Disney Resort Guests such as Early Theme Park Entry, where you can enter your ticketed and reserved theme park 30 minutes prior to opening for General Admission.  Additionally, Guests staying at a Deluxe Resort (which includes Disney Vacation Club Resorts) can enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at select theme parks when available. You'll also have access to complimentary Resort transportation, be able to make Advance Dining Reservations 60 days in advance of your Check-In date for the length of your vacation, early access to Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane and Individual Lightning Lane Reservations beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the day of your theme park visit, access to great pools, restaurants, on-site activities, the use of MagicBands and so much more.

Staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort will give you all the benefits of a home away from home while being just one jump from all of the magic.  It's a great way to immerse yourself in the pixie dust and enjoy Disney from morning until night.

I hope this helps you, Jessica. If I can answer any additional Disney vacation planning questions, come back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you.

    See ya real soon!
