I did an internship at WDW 20 yrs ago, my last Disney trip was 10 yrs ago (so it has been ahwhile). Are the Disney ears headbands the new thing or do people still buy the classic ears that are worn like a hat on your head? We will be going again soon.

    Hi Angela!

Thanks for your question. So happy to hear you're returning to Disney World after some time away. Also: Very cool that you did your internship at Disney. I'm sure a lot was learned and it was an incredible experience. So good for you! :-)

To answer your question: I would say both! Throughout Disney properties, you will find many people wearing the Disney Minnie Mouse Ear Headbands that Moms, daughters, and all little Princesses love to wear. But the classic Mickey Ears Hats are still the rage. It has become an icon accessory over time, and many guests still flock to the stores to purchase the classic Mickey hats still. You don't know how many of those hats I keep locked away as special mementos of my time at Disney. Also still popular is getting those Mickey Ears hats personalized with your name or whatever else you may prefer. The big place to get it personalized is The Chapeau on Main Street, U.S.A at Disney's Magic Kingdom, but there are other places, such as Disney's Wonderful World of Memories at Disney Springs.

So welcome back! Hope your next trip is the most magical ever! :-)
