Ahoy there, Sarah!
Welcome aboard planDisney! One of my favorite things about sailing with Disney is how easy it is to unplug and just soak in the magic. That said, sometimes you need to send a quick email, check in back home, or post that sunset photo that looks like it belongs in a Moana sequel. So let’s talk about how to stay connected while you’re at sea.
Currently, Disney offers two internet package options
onboard the Wish (prices subject to change):
Internet Package – $26 per day
This plan is great for basic web browsing, checking email, scrolling social media, and even Wi-Fi calling. If you just need light connectivity and aren’t planning to stream or video chat, this is usually the way to go.
Internet + Streaming Package – $42 per day
This package offers higher speeds and is better suited for video calls, streaming services like Disney+, or anything that requires more bandwidth. If you know you’ll need FaceTime meetings or movie nights in your stateroom, this one gives you a bit more power behind the pixie dust.
Once you’re onboard the Wish, you’ll open your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and tap the “Connect to Internet” card. From there, you’ll register and choose the package that works best for you and your crew. You can purchase a plan for one device or for multiple devices. If you select a single-device plan, you can share it among your family—just know only one device can be connected at a time.
While pricing can vary, I’ve typically seen discounts offered if you purchase for multiple devices. Also, if you buy a package that covers your entire voyage within the first 24 hours onboard, there is currently a discount of up to 20%. That’s always a nice little bonus! More savings for popcorn at Preludes or an extra specialty coffee.
I hope this helps you decide which option works best for your sailing style. Whether you choose to fully unplug or just stay lightly connected, the Wish has
plenty of magic waiting beyond the screen.
Sea ya real soon with a little extra warmth, wonder, and Disney magic,
Dustin
