Hi, Brittany!
I’m glad to hear you’re thinking of planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth soon. There’s so much magic to explore throughout the
Disneyland Resort, especially with the upcoming debut of
Avengers Campus, an all-new land in Disney California Adventure Park that opens this week!
It sounds like you already know that only California residents may enter the theme parks until June 15, 2021, when out-of-state Guests can begin visiting again. If you’re living here while you attend a California school or university, you’re welcome to purchase a ticket and make a
theme park reservation to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. First, make sure that your contact information, especially your current mailing address in California, is up-to-date in your Disney account on
Disneyland.com or in the
Disneyland mobile app. When you make your reservation, you’ll be asked to confirm that you and everyone in your group are currently in-state residents.
Cast Members at the theme park entrance turnstiles may ask you to present identification to show proof of residency, so if you don’t have a California driver’s license, I suggest bringing along your student ID card and a current bill or statement that shows your name and California address. Be prepared to show these documents along with your theme park ticket and reservation code if requested.
I hope this information is helpful and that you enjoy a perfectly pixie-dusted Disney day soon, Brittany! Please feel free to visit
planDisney again with any other questions you have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
