Hi there, Cindy! Welcome to planDisney. We're glad you stopped by our clubhouse!
A Cast Member recently told me that a government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or state I.D.) is required for admission with the
SoCal Resident Ticket and "the use of personal mail such as bank statements, utility payment notices, student IDs, etc. will not be an acceptable substitution for proof of residency." To use the SoCal Ticket, you must reside within Southern California ZIP codes 90000 to 93599 and have a valid billing address and government-issued photo ID showing an eligible address. Unfortunately, Cindy, this means that only the SoCal residents can use these tickets. All other Guests must buy a standard theme park ticket or find a different ticket offer that they are eligible for.
When you use the SoCal Resident Ticket at the Disneyland Resort theme parks, a Cast Member will verify that your address is within the qualifying Southern California ZIP codes. I have seen other guests turned away at the entrance for not having the required ID, and I'd hate for this to happen to you!
Cindy, you might consider
another ticket that better suits your needs. I always recommend checking the
Offers & Discounts page of the Disneyland website to see what may work. In fact, there is a
Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer that is valid between May 16 through August 14, 2025. You should check it out!
I hope this information helps you and your family. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
