Will International Gateway be open for runners staying at Epcot hotels to enter to get to the race start or do you need to take the bus around to the main entrance to Epcot?

    Hi Bonnie!

The Epcot Resorts are my family's favorites, and the International Gateway is the reason why!  We love Epcot, and we pretend like that's our own secret entrance:)

The International Gateway does not open early on race mornings for runners to get through Epcot to the front.  I generally stay at the Beach Club or Boardwalk (whichever is a host resort for that race weekend) and  take the bus to the race starting area for races that begin in the Epcot parking lot.  Then, I can walk around inside Epcot for a while after the race and eventually make my way back to my room by exiting the park that way.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
