Has the International Flower and Garden show ever overlapped Star Wars weekends in previous years? We are trying to schedule a trip in May and would like it to begin the first weekend of Star Wars.

    Hi Dawn,

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival overlapped the first Star Wars Weekend in Disney's Hollywood Studios this year.  Since 2009, Star Wars Weekends have begun the third weekend in May and usually the Flower and Garden Festival ends earlier. I'm hoping the trend continues so that they will overlap again in 2013.

In 2013, the Flower and Garden Festival will run from March 6 until May 19th. Star Wars Weekends 2013 dates have not been announced yet. Your best chance to see both events is to book for that last weekend of the Flower and Garden Festival with fingers crossed that Star Wars will return for that weekend as well!

Sounds like a fantastic plan and I hope that it works out for you!
