What internal transportation will be available at Disney Springs in March? I'd like minimal walking for my mom's benefit, but I fear the boats from the Landing might not be running. Will I need a wheelchair to get her from the bus stop to Cirque?

    Hiya Bob,

Welcome back to planDisney! It means so much to us to have you here coming back to visit us for assistance planning your March vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Whenever I plan a Walt Disney World Resort trip, I always set aside some time to visit Disney Springs. It is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the Theme Parks, but it is just as magical to me thanks to experiences like Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney. I have fond memories of seeing that show with my friends, and I’m sure you will love it too. Bob, there are plenty of transportation options to get you to Disney Springs, including bus transportation. Unfortunately, you may find that the bus stop (currently dropping in Town Center or near the Marketplace) will be quite the walk for your mom. When I saw Drawn to Life, I was expecting my first child, and I found that 15-minute walk to be a bit tiring. If you plan to utilize any of the complimentary Walt Disney World Resort transportation and you want to save your mom from walking long distances, a wheelchair would be the way to go.

I would love to share with you one of my favorite ways to get around Walt Disney World Resort which may be an even better option for your mom, the Minnie Van Service! Seasoned Cast Members drive Minnie Van Service, and they can take you from the Theme Parks to Disney Springs and from resort hotel to resort hotel. I love using them to get to and from Magic Kingdom Park, particularly since they drop off where the buses drop off! Since they are Cast Members, they can take Guests to locations that traditional rideshares cannot access and can save your mother from having to walk too far to get to the show. Of course, there is no guarantee that they have a closer drop-off point for Drawn to Life, but I think it is worth the shot.

I hope this was helpful, Bob. Please come back and see us if you need anything!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
