Hello Tim,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I love Disney's Polynesian Resort! It's just such a fun atmosphere, you're so close to Magic Kingdom, you get to experience the whimsical
Electrical Water Pageant, and
Kona Café is one of my favorite breakfast spots ever. Some people love Tonga Toast, but I'm partial to Macadamia Nut Pancakes.
While you have so many fantastic dining options around you, it is fun to venture to other resorts to see what they have to offer.
Sebastian's Bistro at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort just recently re-opened, so it sounds like a great restaurant to try for some island inspired cuisine.
There are a couple of options for traveling to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. What I would probably do is take a bus to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. From there you can hop onto
Disney Skyliner for a scenic ride to the resort. Another option would be to take the monorail to
Magic Kingdom and then board a bus to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
If you're looking for a direct route, you might consider taking a ride share service like Lyft or Uber. Disney did announce they will be bringing back their popular
Minnie Van service, but no exact date has been given yet.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
