We are interested in visiting a water park. Kids are 11 and 9. Which park would be better?

Thank you kindly for taking the time to consult me at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alissa!

Which Walt Disney World Resort Water Park to visit is a biggie, as both Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Parks both offer unique theming based on entertaining backstories, highlighted by thrilling water fun. I recommend that you consider upgrading your Theme Park Tickets to include the Park Hopper Plus Option which:
    • Enables you to enjoy same-day admission to all 4 Theme Parks on each day of your Ticket.
    • Grants you a certain number of visits to Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney’s Oak Trail, Disney’s Fantasia Gardens and Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Courses.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is a thrill for the largest wave pool, scariest water slide – Summit Plummet and fun raft ride - Cross Country Creek. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park wins my vote with an entertaining lazy river ride along the perimeter of the park, the Miss Adventure Falls family raft-ride, the amazing coaster-like Crush 'n Gusher and the super fun surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool and I must not forget about the huge drop in the darkness at Humunga Kowabunga!

I hope this information is splash-tacularly helpful, Alissa and we would welcome the opportunity to be of any further assistance again soon!

    Best Disney Wishes!
    Jacqueline
