Interested in touring “under the parks”

    Hi Patricia,

Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question! It sounds like you are interested in seeing the Utilidors underneath of Magic Kingdom. So much happens in the Utilidors, including the movement of supplies about Magic Kingdom, as well as the ability for Cast Members to move about Magic Kingdom underneath of it all!

I have good news for you, Patricia. You can see the Utilidors by going on Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour. This is an amazing, 5-hour experience that will take you behind the scenes at Magic Kingdom. I did this tour with some friends, and it truly added to our Walt Disney World experience. Having been to Magic Kingdom many times, it was fascinating to learn about some behind the scenes magic!

The link that I provided above will give you full information on booking this tour. Let me highlight a few things that I think are important when considering this tour. You do need to have valid theme park admission and a theme park reservation for the day of your tour. All guests need to be age 16 years or older. I highly recommend that you book this tour in advance of your trip. Currently, advance reservations can be made for Enchanting Extras such as this one up to 60 days in advance. Tours such as this one do have an additional cost, so be sure to check that out on the website.

There are many great theme park tours and experiences that can enhance your Walt Disney World vacation, Patricia. I recommend Wild Africa Trek, where you get to go behind the scenes - and above the animals - at Disney's Animal Kingdom! Another interesting tour, if you prefer to keep your feet on solid ground, is Behind the Seeds at EPCOT. On this tour, you get to head into the greenhouses at The Land pavilion and learn about the plants and animals there.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Patricia! Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and do not hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have any further questions!
