We are interested in the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party with Plaza Viewing at Disneyworld. I am wondering if there is seating offered while eating desserts? I understand we must stand during the castle show but would love to sit during eating!

    Hi Karmen!

I'm happy to hear you're thinking about making a reservation for the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My daughter and I recently enjoyed one of these special dining events, and had the best time!

The first part of your dessert party will be held in the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, where you'll feast on a gorgeous buffet of delicious treats and beverages. At the party we attended, there were probably about twenty or more different dessert offerings, as well as an ice cream sundae bar and a decorate-your-own-cookie station. It was amazing! Guests will be seated at tables for this portion of the party, so no worries, you won't have to stand and eat your treats!

As it gets close to showtime, Cast Members will escort party guests across the walkway to the Plaza Garden, which is an AWESOME spot to view the Happily Ever After Fireworks. Keep an eye out for Tinkerbell during the show - she'll fly right over your head! While there are no seats in the Plaza Garden, some Guests will choose to remain seated on the (artificial) grass during the fireworks. With all the new castle projections, I wasn't able to fully see the entire display sitting down. The best place to stand and watch the show will be along the inner edges of the garden area, so you won't possibly block those that choose to remain seated. (I've also been in the garden when the majority of Guests chose to stand. It changes with the crowd!)

I hope this information is helpful! Please let us know if you have further questions as you plan your Disney vacation. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
