Interested in Tier 1 FOLK package at AK. If I make a 6:25 or 7:10 reservation, do I go to the 6:00 show, then dinner, then safari? This would be in early October so I am curious as to how late the safaris run.

Hi, Gwen! Thanks so much for stopping by with another great question for us! Guests who reserve the Festival of the Lion King Signature Dining Package can either pick a lunch or dinner reservation time at Tiffins Restaurant, based on availability. Those who have a lunch spot will dine first and enjoy the show later. Most of the dinner reservations will have guests enjoying the show and attraction first before dining. The 6:25/7:10 p.m. times you mentioned should have you dancing and singing along with the show before your meal. You will also be able to enjoy a jaunt through the savanna on Kilimanjaro Safaris before heading to Tiffins Restaurant.

When you complete your reservation, full payment for the dining package will be required to secure your place. At that time, you should receive a specific show time to attend. I spoke with a Cast Member recently who let me know that since the balance of your meal will be covered already, you will be able to check-in at the restaurant earlier that day and receive your vouchers for the Festival of the Lion King show that you are slated to attend. If you cannot recall that showtime, be sure to check your confirmation email or your My Disney Experience account.

I hope you have a roaring good time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! If you have not already done so, remember to make your FastPass+ selections as soon as you are able. You will be able to make up to three per day, 30 days in advance of your trip. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, then you can extend that FastPass+ selection window out to 60 days! Since you will have the dining package, you won't have to worry about making one for Festival of the Lion King and can instead maybe shoot for a trip through Mount Everest or plan to chat about your safari with Mickey and Minnie Mouse!

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
