I am interested in taking a Wishes cruise immediately following Mickey's Backyard BBQ in FW. Can we start the cruise there and be dropped off at our hotel, the GF? What number would we call to order the onboard birthday cake? Are drinks included?

    Hi Radley,

You are going to love the Wishes fireworks cruise!  My family took one a few years ago in December and it was pure Disney magic!

I called (407) WDW-PLAY to ask if you could board a Wishes cruise at Fort Wilderness and later be dropped off at the Grand Floridian.  Unfortunately, the cast member to whom I spoke suggested that would not be possible.  You would have to choose to depart from and arrive back at the same dock.  If you book your Wishes cruise for the dock at Fort Wilderness, they would return you there after the fireworks display.  Then you could hop on a boat to the Magic Kingdom and transfer there to either the monorail or a resort boat back to the Grand Floridian.

As for what is included with your Wishes cruise, light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are included.  To order a specialty birthday cake on Disney property, guests typically call (407) 827-2253.  When you call (407) WDW-PLAY to book your Wishes cruise, just confirm with them that the cake hot line listed above is the best way to get a birthday cake for your celebration.

Have a wonderful vacation and please wish the birthday boy or girl best wishes from the Moms Panel!
