Hi there, Rachel! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're planning a stay at the Happiest Place on Earth this fall! How magical! I love a Disneyland visit around Halloween, as the fall decor and spooky fun ambiance are just as impressive as some of the holiday decor later in the year. With pumpkins and gourds welcoming you into the parks, happy haunts await you at every corner. You'll find Halloween-themed goodies all around the parks and
Downtown Disney District, which is personally my favorite part of any stay. Who can resist the treats? You may even be lucky enough to catch some Halloween ride overlays.. but at the very least, you can jump on
Haunted Mansion to up the spook factor to get you into the spirit!
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is an excellent place to stay during your vacation. Currently, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is undergoing some refurbishments and we do not have a scheduled end date.
Disney Parks Blog will be your best source of breaking news and updated information leading up to your stay, so I suggest checking the blog frequently to see if there have been any changes!
While the hotel construction does limit your dining options a bit, as
Surfside Lounge and
The Sand Bar will remain unavailable, there are plenty of other ways to satisfy that "rumbly in your tumbly." There is a Self-Service Market with quick food and drink options near the lobby of this resort hotel and if you're willing to go for a quick stroll, you'll find plenty of
nearby restaurants.
As the pool is part of the construction area at Disney's Pixar Pier Hotel, Guests can utilize the pool at the
Disneyland Hotel instead. I also recommend that Guests check out the dining options at Disneyland Hotel, too. I'm a huge fan of
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar and of course, you can never go wrong with a meal at
Goofy's Kitchen! It can be helpful to check for advance dining reservations 60 days before your dining date, so you have the most options when choosing a restaurant.
I'll keep wishing upon a star that Disney's Pixar Pier Hotel is fully up and running again by the time you visit, Rachel!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
