We are interested in staying at the French Quater, but want to know if there is a walking path to epcot, to access the monarail. we really love the Contemporary for the monarail convience but it is such a saving to stay at a moderate resort.

Hi Jennifer. Welcome to the Moms Panel! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a great choice. It is actually one of my family's favorite resorts! Unfortunately, there is not a walking path to Epcot. However, if you decide to visit Downtown Disney area you will be able to take a water shuttle - free of charge. And this is all at your resort!! Disney's Contemporary Resort is a great hotel and very convenient to Magic Kingdom and Epcot - but it is a Deluxe resort. Disney has made staying onsite affordable for all wallets by having the three Resort levels - Value, Moderate and Deluxe. You cannot go wrong staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter!! Have a magical day! Ca'Sandra

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is a great choice. It is actually one of my family's favorite resorts! Unfortunately, there is not a walking path to Epcot. However, if you decide to visit Downtown Disney area you will be able to take a water shuttle - free of charge. And this is all at your resort!!

Disney's Contemporary Resort is a great hotel and very convenient to Magic Kingdom and Epcot - but it is a Deluxe resort.
