We are interested in staying at the CBR for this upcoming Xmas (2 aduts, 6yr & 2). Wou you recommend a standard room or a preferred room? I understand it is a larger resort but I am hoping to utilize my time as best of possible.

    Hey there Renee!  GREAT question!

You are absolutely correct in observing that Caribbean Beach Resort is a fairly large property, and because of this, getting from point A to point B can be a little tricky at times, especially if your room assignment is in one of the distant sections.

If you are looking to maximize your time, then I would definitely spring for a preferred room as opposed to standard.  The preferred rooms are located in both the Martinique and Trinidad sections which are both within easy walking distance from Old Port Royal, the resort's main building and food court area, as well as the main bus stop.

If you plan to keep your walking to a minimum while at Caribbean Beach Resort, then I think you'll find the extra cost of a preferred room well worth the money!

    Best Wishes,
