We're interested in going to the Star Wars Weekend celebration this upcoming summer. I know that normally they discourage adult costumes at the parks but do they make an exception for SW costumes during this time?

    Hi Camilla,

The Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios are a blast. There are so many great and unique opportunities to interact with a number of the Star Wars characters as well as quite a few of the actual actors. There are spcial topic discussions and shows throughout each weekend. Start saving your money now as there are also some unique collectibles that are for sale just during this event.

Although Disney's policy typically prohibits teen and adult guests from dressing in costumes in the parks, the Star Wars events are an exception. Adults are encouraged to dress and participate in their favorite Jedi attire. The costumes must be tasteful and safe and no full head masks (like the actual Disney characters wear) are allowed. Others start sewing now and get that head start and May the Force Be With You!
