We are interested in the Saratoga Treehouses. However concerned about my mothers abilitiy to access the villas. She is active but,in her 70's & has arthitis. We'd like the opportunity to all (9) stay together. Should we look elsewhere?

Hi Julie,

Welcome to the Moms Panel! I had the opportunity to tour the Treehouse Villas and I can tell you they are remarkable, the atmosphere was secluded and quiet yet the accommodations were luxurious.

Most of the villas are accessed by a flight of stairs, however they do have a few that are accessible by a gradual inclining ramp. If this is something that would be beneficial, I would be sure to have it noted on your reservation that you would need an accessible accommodation.

If you think you will need to find other options, I might suggest you consider a DVC resort such as the Boardwalk or Animal Kingdom Villas and be sure to request to be close to the elevators and lobby.
