I am interested in reviews of the California Grill Omakase menu that's $175 pp. Have you seen samples of a menu or any reviews of the food?

Hi, Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

“Omakase” means “I’ll leave it to you” in Japanese and if you are a “foodie” or just enjoy unique dining experiences, then this California Grill adventure in culinary arts is for you! Because the menu changes so frequently (sometimes even nightly), I don’t have any actual samples of offerings for you, but I can tell you that from what I have seen, sushi is a regular on the menu. This experience involves seating at the chef’s table, arguably one of the best seats in the house, as well as a 12-course chef directed menu. Items that you will receive with this meal will not be available on the regular menu and therefore it might even be the only night these items are offered!

Although I have not personally tried the menu, my research, and inquiry lead me to believe that you will not be disappointed! All of this research has actually made me hungry and want to try this out for our 10-year anniversary vacation this summer! Please excuse me while I go make my Advanced Dining Reservation now.

    Bon appetit!
