I am interested in purchasing tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Since you have to purchase a seperate ticket does the whole park shut down for this event at a certain time? What time is the party & how long does it last?We want to go Fri 1

    Hi Nicole!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite Holiday things to do in Walt Disney World (I have attended six times so far since 2009)! On a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party evening things are a little different than a regular park closing night at the Magic Kingdom because most of the rides and attractions remain open during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. At 7:00 pm when Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party officially begins, only Guests with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party wristbands (Guests get a wristband if they have a ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) will be permitted on to the rides. Also you will need a wristband to enter any of the lands of the Magic Kingdom after Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party begins.  This amazing party typically lasts until 12:00 am on each evening that it is offered.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
