We are interested in purchasing just the regualr base tickets. My question is if we do this and go to the park in the morning and decide to go back to our resort and then go back later on are we allowed to do this? Or would we have to use another ticket?

    Hi Lynn!

With a Magic Your Way ticket, you are really buying the number of days that you can enter a major theme park as opposed to individual admissions.  So if you have a 5 day Magic Your Way base ticket then you can enter one of the four major theme parks for 5 days; they don't have to be consecutive days but you do have to use all of your days before your ticket expires.

So to answer your question, with a base ticket you are allowed to enter the same park multiple times on the same day.  You do not need the Park Hopper option unless you try to go to a second theme park on the same day.

The panel is often asked if you can buy, for example, a 10 day base ticket and use it as a 5 day Park Hopper by visiting two parks in one day.  Unfortunately that doesn't work because again, you are not buying individual admissions; you are really buying "days".

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
