I am interested in purchasing Lightning Lane reservations for my 2 kids, 12 & 8, for a ride when we visit this summer. I get motion sick and can't ride many rides. Am I still able to stand in line with them as I don't want them to wait alone?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Kelly!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and can't wait to help you plan your next trip to Disney World! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as you and your kids make core memories that will bring so much JOY! We are counting down the days with you, and Mickey and Minnie can't wait to "See You Real Soon!"

First of all, you are going to receive the "Best Mom Ever" medal for making Lightning Lane reservations for your two kids. With Lightning Lane passes, you can bypass the regular standby line and enjoy quicker access to select rides and experiences. It’s a simple way to make your day smoother and save you SOOOOO much time.

So, are you ready for some TIGGER-ific news?! I am very happy to share with you that you can absolutely stand in line with your kids, even if you don’t plan to ride. When you arrive at the Lightning Lane entrance of the attraction, just let the Cast Member know you would like to wait in line with your kids and that you will not be riding. From there, enter the Lightning Lane queue with your children and wait with them all the way up until the boarding area. When it’s time for them to get on the ride, just let the Cast Member at the load-in area know that you won’t be riding. Depending on the attraction, they’ll direct you to a nearby exit or a designated bypass area. This is very common, and Disney Cast Members are always helpful and understanding, especially when it comes to families with young kids. Don't you just love happy endings?!

As you continue to plan, make sure you check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some incredible surprises planned, and we don't want you to miss a thing!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way we can!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
