Happy (early) Holidays, Kristen, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
Kristen, from the specialty treats to the decorations lining Main Street, U.S.A., Christmastime at the Walt Disney World Resort is an extra special season to be at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Now, Kristen, you can easily book a vacation package for the end of December by starting your journey
HERE. I'll encourage you to put in your desired dates and include the information you shared about your traveling party. All resorts with availability for that time frame will display a nightly rate. Once you have selected a resort, you can add on
Park Hopper tickets to create a vacation package. Dining plans aren't scheduled to return until January 2024, so meals will be separate from what you can book on this page. Your reservation can be secured with a deposit and then paid off over time. Prior to booking, I would encourage you to peruse the moderate resort options. Each of the following resorts have their own vibe and attributes that make the unique:
-
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort -
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort -
Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside -
Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter
Kristen, while you'll find lots of extra pixie dust during the holiday season, you'll also find higher crowd levels, so I encourage you to book your trip as soon as you're able as it's possible that some resorts will sell out of inventory. I'll also encourage you to
book any dining reservations that are on your must-do list 60 days in advance of arrival. Restaurant reservations can be booked beginning around 6:00 AM. Since the end of December is quite popular, I recommend setting your coffee to auto-brew and having your My Disney Experience account pulled up and ready to book when the clock turns to 6:00.
Kristen, I hope this helps kickstart your planning journey. My fellow panelists and I are here to help, so feel free to come on back with additional questions or if you need recommendations.
Wishing you a Magical trip,
Lauren
