Interested in planning a Family Reunion Summer 2025 (mid June). Thinking we will have 30-75 attendees. I have a travel business but want to ensure I am not missing any steps and want to make sure the family has a great time

Hi Adrian and welcome to planDisney!

There is no better place to have a family reunion than at Walt Disney World!  I am the coordinator for a reunion of 100+ people every year at Walt Disney World, so I'm quite familiar with group planning.  We also had our wedding at EPCOT 15 years ago, so we had a lot of fun planning with Disney for our magical day.

Since you have a travel business, I'm sure you are well versed on planning vacations, but I still encourage you to reach out to Disney Meetings & Events to see if they can help you plan a magical reunion.  Disney Groups no longer offers discounted Disney Resort hotel options, but they do offer a room block to make it convenient for your reunion Guests to book under a specific block of rooms at designated hotels.  Disney Meetings & Events can also help you set up a private event if you choose to do something like that for your family.  We have done private in-park breakfasts at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios, private dessert parties at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or in a park with prime fireworks views at EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic!, a cocktail reception with a variety of appetizers at sunset at the beautiful Seabreeze Point at Disney's BoardWalk Inn and a full dinner at the Living Seas Salon in EPCOT.  There are so many options to make a family reunion super special.  We have also done group events at Splitsville Luxury Lanes that includes food, drinks and bowling, which is always a big hit, especially if you have kids in your group.  You can reach out to Splitsville on their website for group inquiries.

If you're looking for something fun and inexpensive to do, try a scavenger hunt!  We do a hunt each year with my group and everyone always has a blast.  My favorite places to do it are either at Disney Springs or around the EPCOT area Resort hotels since they make a loop.  You can get lots of ideas for Walt Disney World scavenger hunts online.  For my group, we meet all together and pass out the hunt questions, then give everyone a set time to return.  The group that has the most right answers wins a prize.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
