I am interested in planning a our Family group. We are looking to book the 3-night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral scheduled for April 16-19, 2027 on ship (Disney Wish). Please advise on how I should proceed

    Ahoy there, Tam!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Planning a family getaway at sea is a wonderful idea, and setting sail on the Disney Wish feels a bit like stepping into your very own storybook. From the Grand Hall to the deck parties, that ship was built for shared moments and memory-making with the whole crew.

It looks like you’re already off to a great start since you’ve locked in both the ship and sail dates. The next step is figuring out how many people will be sailing and how many staterooms you’ll need for your group. As you build that plan, remember that each stateroom must have at least one adult assigned. Most non-Concierge staterooms can sleep three or four Guests, with a few options that can accommodate up to five, which gives you some flexibility depending on how your family is made up.

Once you know your total number of Guests and how many staterooms you’ll need, you can either book directly on the website or call Disney Cruise Line to book over the phone. If you use the website, you can reserve up to four staterooms in a single booking. If your party needs five or more staterooms, you’ll either need to make multiple reservations or have a Cast Member help you by phone to make sure everything is coordinated smoothly.

Since you’re already thinking big-picture, I’ll throw one more thought into the mix. If it works with everyone’s budget and schedules, you might consider a 4-night sailing instead of a 3-night. It may not sound like much, but those 3-night cruises can fly by faster than Dash on the track. That extra night can make a big difference, giving your family more time to relax, explore the ship, and enjoy being together without feeling rushed.

I hope this helps as you start mapping out your family’s cruise adventure. A little planning now can lead to a whole lot of shared memories once you’re onboard. May your plans come together smoothly and your sailing be filled with moments worthy of their own Disney ending.

Sea ya real soon as the adventure continues into a bright new year,
    Dustin
