I am interested in planning a Disney Cruise for my family of 4, including myself, for December 2026. Please let me know when those dates will become available. I would love for this to be my daughters' Christmas gift.

Ahoy, Matey! You and I have the same question on our minds. I love setting my sights on adventures beyond the reef and having a Disney Cruise Line reservation on the horizon. And while there are plenty of 2026 cruises announced, I cannot wait to see the dates for the special Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime sailings next year.

Disney Cruise Line typically releases its itineraries 15-18 months in advance. I checked and found that the Fall 2025 and early 2026 cruises were released on June 24, 2024. So, I don't know when we'll be able to book cruises for late next year, but it could be any day now. If I remember correctly, the announcement was made a week before the cruises became available to book, giving us time to shop and plan before making a reservation.

One of the best ways to make sure you don't miss the boat on any news is to sign up for email updates. Disney is great about sending emails to let everyone know when new itineraries become available, as well as highlighting the upcoming season. I also like to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. They typically announce new booking dates, as well as share all the big news coming to the ships and itineraries.

I have no guarantees, but I have high hopes that you will be able to surprise your daughter with a Disney Cruise for Christmas. Next, you can start planning your big reveal. We invited my brother to join us on a cruise as a Christmas gift, and wrapped a Halloween on the High Seas t-shirt with instructions that this was to be worn for our Sail Away photos. It took a second to connect the shirt to "We're going on a cruise!" and the moment of realization was pure magic!

I hope we are just days away from leaving "Disney Dreaming" and sailing into "Disney Planning." If we can help with any other questions as you get ready for your time on board, please come see us again at planDisney.

    Magic Awaits!
