Ahoy Rachael! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I eagerly awaited my daughter turning 4 years old because the
Pirate Adventure Cruises seemed like so much fun and I knew that it was right up her alley.
She participated in the Pirate Adventure Cruise sailing out of
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (now-defunct) and had an amazing time. Unfortunately, despite my dressing up in full pirate regalia, only Guests ages 4-12 are able to participate in the Pirate Adventure Cruises and Parents(even those who are more than willing to act 4 years old like me) do not tag along.
Before the Pirate Adventure Cruise, the Captains (Cast Members specializing in Youth Activities) ask that all kids use the restroom before embarking. I was informed by the Cast Member that there were restrooms for emergencies at stops, but that going just before was ideal.
If you require more detailed information for a specific Cruise or to book reservations, you may contact a
Enchanting Extras Cast Member by calling (407) 939-7529.
My daughter was 4-and-a-half when she took the Pirate Adventure cruise and loved every minute of it. We will be booking another Cruise now that her brother is of age on a future Walt Disney World resort vacation.
Happy Sailing!
