Hello, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for sailing our way!
There's nothing quite like the magic of a Disney Cruise vacation. There's so much to do both onboard and while visiting ports of call, it's the
perfect vacation for my family. There are a couple of different ways that I can interpret your question, so I hope that I'm on the right track! To create a vacation package complete with transportation, you can
book a Disney Cruise (either online or
over the phone) and add
air and/or
ground transportation by calling Disney Cruise Line. You can even request to add nights in a hotel before or after your Disney Cruise as part of your vacation package.
If you'd like to combine the magic of a Disney Cruise with the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, you can book a
Disney Vacation by Land and Sea. You have a few options when you decide to combine the two destinations into one fabulous vacation. First, you may choose to book each component separately. This is my preferred method because I find it easier to prepare for the Walt Disney World portion of my trip when I've booked it on my own.
Alternatively, you can choose to
call Disney Cruise Line and ask them to reserve pre-cruise and/or post-cruise night stays at a Walt Disney World Resort of your choosing. The final option is to use a trusted travel agent to take care of the booking for you. This is the most hands-off method and a great choice if you want someone else to take care of the details of travel planning. If you decide to choose a travel agent but you don't know where to find one, you might consider reaching out to your friends and family on social media to ask for some recommendations.
If you'll be combining a Disney Cruise with a Walt Disney World Resort visit, plan for a seamless transition between the two experiences with ground transportation between Port Canaveral and the Walt Disney World Resort. From Port Canaveral, you can use Disney Cruise Line transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport or a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. If you'd like to take advantage of this option, simply call Disney Cruise Line to request it be added to your booking.
I hope this information is helpful to you. My pals and I are always hoping to point your compass in the direction of fun and adventure aboard the Disney Cruise Line. Please cruise back to us if you have more questions. We will do our best to help!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
