I was interested in going to Hoop Dee Do the week after Thanksgiving. I understand they modify the show for the holidays, adding some Christmas songs. When does this start?

Hi Patsy, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m extending a HUGE thank you to you, because I had no idea that Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue adds holiday magic to its show during the Christmas season. With added decorations and festive music, this just became a can’t-miss for my family’s holiday visit this year.

I checked in with a Cast Member to see if we have a date for the changeover, and she said that an official date has not yet been determined, but it typically happens in late November. If you're wanting to see the Christmas-themed version of the show, my advice is to make a reservation toward the end of your stay, and then keep an eye on the website and Disney Parks Blog for announcements. It’s also a good idea to call (407) WDW-DINE a few weeks before your visit to ask which version you'll be seeing on your date.

Patsy, a visit to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort during the holidays brings so much yuletide cheer! Many Guests at this resort decorate everything from their campsites, cabins, and RVs to their golf carts, and the resort decorations are stunning too. You can even reserve a holiday sleigh ride through the resort!

Enjoy the merriment and fun at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, and the delicious food. I’m pretty sure I could eat that Strawberry Shortcake every day of my life!

Wishing you a magical Thanksgiving vacation,
    Robyn
