I am interested in having my kids (age 9 and 5) do the Bayou Pirate Adventure Cruise, do the parents go with them or is it kids only? Do we need reservations?

    Ahoy, Doug! Welcome back!

The Bayou Pirate Adventure available at Disney's Port Orleans  - Riverside Resort is swashbuckling fun for ye little scalawags only. Parents are able to enjoy a couple of hours of free time while Disney Recreation Cast Members (these adventures are generally hosted by Cast Member's that work in the Walt Disney World Resort children's activity centers) take your children out for their adventure.

These two-hour sailings are incredibly fun and are available by reservation only. Parents also need to arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out the appropriate paperwork and sign waivers. You can check the schedule, availability, and book a reservation by calling 1 (407) 939-7529.

Also, if you happen to be a Disney Vacation Club Member or Annual Passholder, don't forget to ask about any discounts available for these guests.

Arggg....I hope ye finds this information helpful, matey! And please send yer questions our way. We are here to help you navigate an adventurous vacation.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Disney life for me!
