Hi Grace, and welcome to planDisney! I'm always happy to help a fellow Sunshine Stater plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! It sounds like you have quite an adventure in store for your family members. Isn't it fun to be able to share your love of Disney when people come to visit? That's just one of the many benefits of living so close to the magic.
So, let's walk you through what you need to know to hit the Theme Parks. First, if you haven't already, you and your family members should
download the My Disney Experience app. You can
buy your Walt Disney World tickets on the website or right in the app and link them to your free account for an easy way to have all of your information in one place. Once you have your tickets, it's time to plan your Disney days!
All four Theme Parks are indeed open now, but to maintain a safe environment, Disney is requiring all Guests to make an advance reservation to visit them. Fortunately, it's super easy to do! Just go to the
Disney Park Pass page on the Walt Disney World website and choose which Park you want to visit each day. You can only reserve one Theme Park per day, subject to availability. But if you think you'd like to visit a second Park on the same day, there's more good news.
As of January 1, Park hopping is back! You'd just need to add the Park Hopper option to your tickets, which allows you to "hop" to another Park after you've visited the first one. How cool is that? Just note that at the moment, Park Hopper hours may vary and are subject to capacity in the other Parks.
After locking in your Park Passes, you're good to go! Just head to the Theme Park you've selected for the day and let the memories begin!
Grace, I hope you have an amazing visit with your family. Have fun sharing the magic of Disney, and do come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
